1. The contest is open to all adult (over 18 years of age) Indian nationals.
2. The contest shall be open during the period from 15^th August, 2015 to (midnight of) 15^th September, 2015.
3. Lavasa Corporation Limited shall maintain confidentiality of the personal information furnished by the contest participants.
4. Each participant shall ensure that their participation is in conformity with the laws of India and do not infringe intellectual property of any third party including but not limited to Copyright. Lavasa Corporation Limited shall assume no liability in case of any suit or claim of breach of intellectual property and all cost and consequences of any such infringement shall be entirely to the participant.
5. Jury's decision will be final and cannot be disputed
6. Lavasa will not be responsible for arranging travel, stay or any other facilities to people travelling to Lavasa for participating in the contest.
7. Images cannot be watermarked. Such images will be disqualified.
8. Prizes have to be claimed in the mentioned period after the announcing of winners, failing which the winner/s is/are not entitled for claiming the prizes.
9. By participating in this contest users agree and undertake to indemnify and keep indemnified Lavasa Corporation Limited, its subsidiaries, associates, affiliates, joint ventures, employees and agencies from any suit, claim, cost or damages arising out of your conduct in participating and submitting of entry in this contest.
10. The pictures uploaded on the website will be short listed and sent to the Jury for choosing the final winners.
11. The winners shall be announced on the Capture Lavasa Webpage and on the facebook fan page wall of Lavasa Community.
12. The 1st prize winner gets a 6 month's contract as Lavasa's official photographer and will be compensated Rupees Two lac only (Rs. 2,00,000/-) in combination of cash and kind (terms and conditions apply)
13. The Winner has to sign a legal contract with Lavasa Corporation Limited for deliverables. Failing to fulfill the contract can lead to legal action.
14. The 1st Runner up from each category will receive gift vouchers worth Rs.25,000/- each
15. The 2nd Runner up from each category will win gift voucher worth Rs.10,000/- each
16. The first 100 people to register and participate in the contest will receive Lavasa Merchandise.
17. The Company reserves the right to change or modify the prizes for the contest at its sole discretion.
18. The prizes given out shall be governed by the terms and conditions applicable to their usage and Lavasa Corporation Limited shall assume no responsibility or liability for their use.
19. The prizes cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
20. The prizes cannot be sold in any condition.
21. The prizes are non-transferable and winners will have to prove their identity to avail the stay.
22. The prizes shall be sent to the winning entries at the contact address furnished at the end of the contest.
23. The participant hereby agrees that all incidental costs/taxes/levies related to the Gratification(s), if any, shall be exclusively borne by the Participant, which shall be including but not limited to TDS, and any other taxes applicable/levied by the Statutory Authorities.
24. Lavasa Corporation Limited reserves the right to close/Cancel the contest at any situation without prior intimation.
25. Employees of Lavasa Corporation Limited, their dependants, agencies associated with this contest and their employees shall not be entitled to participate in this contest.
26. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Mumbai in the first instance.
27. Each person can submit a maximum of 5 photos every time he/she wants to send an entry. The photo(s) you wish to submit must be uploaded on the website.
28. All work submitted must be an original work. Lavasa Corporation Limited will accept photos taken by you. As such, you are required to comply with all Indian copyright laws, any and all laws regarding intellectual property and you will indemnify Lavasa Corporation Limited and its affiliates for any violations in connection with the image(s) submitted.
29. Lavasa Corporation Limited will have sole right on the images submitted by the participants. Lavasa Corporation Limited has the right to reproduce the pictures in any medium without the permission of the participant.
30. We reserve the right to reject any photos which we, in our sole and absolute discretion, deem offensive, violates the law or unsuitable in any other manner. Examples of the following types of photos we will reject include the following:
    • Pornographic or nude images
    • Images promoting illegal drug use
    • Images depicting crimes of any nature
    • Lavasa Corporation Limited is not required to provide any explanation for the rejection.
31. All photos submitted that abide by the above rules will be entered into the contest pool.
32. Mailing address will be used only to send the prizes and will not be distributed nor used for any other purpose.
