Believing in the philosophy of lifelong learning, Lavasa has been developing as a centre of education and research. To showcase India's prowess as a global-leader in educational attainment as well as to demonstrate the country's vast potential as a hub of learning and development, SkillTree Knowledge Consortium, India's first syndicate of Indian private universities and institutions in association with international communications and brand consultancy Sterling Media, launched a unique initiative titled ‘SkillTree Great Place to Study – India Edition', powered by Lavasa.
The event took place on June 24, 2014 and marked the first international education convocation of its kind in London to profile some of India's most established and respected educational institutions, with Ecole Hoteliere Lavasa, being one of them.
The elite gathering saw senior representatives from over 20 of India's most prominent colleges interacting with esteemed UK public figures, VIPs, business leaders and lynchpins from the education and business sectors, in a first-of-its-kind meeting. Mr. Nathan Andrews was the Chief Speaker at the event, and the ‘SkillTree Great Place to Study – India Edition' award was received by Mr. Rajiv Duggal in the Churchill Room at the House of Commons by Amy Jackson, Miss Liverpool 2010. The award ceremony was followed by a High Tea Session hosted at the terrace of the House of Lords.
